Reviving an original owner 1937 colonial in DC's Barnaby Woods to be our forever home full of character and charm!

As shared in the reveal Part 1, this home had my heart from the moment we toured it and I still can't believe its ours! Inspired by the historic original owner, Smithsonian Natural History Museum Founding Director, Frank Taylor, we maintained as many original details as possible while bringing major renovations to 99% of the house to create a modern functional space that perfectly suits out family and brings us joy daily. You'll see a theme (or an obsession) of oversized light fixtures, vintage rugs, and plants just to name a few.
