Welcome to the world Wyatt Rivers!

With such a distinguished name, this little prince needed quite the nursery to begin his reign. And I think we've done just that by creating a space that's bright and modern with touches of warmth that make you want to cuddle up in his Eames rocker all night long! Wyatt's super stylish mother already the gold triangle wallpaper and stunning starburst chandelier in place from her daughters nursery but needed guidance to make the space unique for baby number two.

Here's how we did just that! The client had already selected the fabulous colorful animal heads, which we knew we wanted to use behind the crib but against the gold triangles they were quickly lost. We decided to add the navy vintage frames to make the heads pop and establish navy as the prominent color in the room. We then selected Turkish indigo bedding and pillows to coordinate with the boho curtains and added the beautiful moses basket that was a present from her mother in law.

We selected the boys black and white artwork framed in barnwood to bring some neutral contrast to the space and added a shelf for dimension and function (as any mother knows..you have to have a space for the video monitor!). We then added the Eames style rocking chair styled with a cozy sheepskin and colorful Turkish throw pillow nestled next to a wooden side table. The gold animals were decor from the clients baby shower, which we thought added just the pop of gold we needed. I just love the placement of the pom pom garland but I must admit I wasn't quite sure where she was going with hanging them vertically until I saw it in person - just the perfect pop of color in the corner!

On the opposite wall we selected a simple gold organizer for books and toys - and completed the space by hanging a newborn black and white jumper above a rattan basket of books.

I love the story this space tells and can't wait to meet little Wyatt this week!

Xoxo- Caroline
